Menu Plan Monday | July 18, 2011

On Saturday my husband and I took the kids cherry picking so among other things, we have lots and lots of sweet cherries to eat this week.  Jaden absolutely loves them though, so that shouldn't be a problem :)


The sweet cherry trees were just loaded!

Breakfast for Dinner - Ham, sausage, green peppers, onions, potatoes, egg scramble

Burgers
Meaty Nachos
Green Salad

Friday
Chicken French Bread Pizza

Saturday
Steaks
Grilled Zucchini and Summer Squash

Sunday
Slow-Cooked Tamale Casserole

Saw those cherries and knew you were a Michigander :) We made cherry BBQ sauce with all the cherries we picked last year before moving out of MI. Enjoy your week and thanks for sharing your menu with us this week.

Rachel - I'll post the tamale casserole next week after I've tried it - it's a new recipe for us.

SnoWhite - I am indeed a Michigander :) Cherry BBQ sauce sounds interesting, I'll have to try that sometime.

Dede - I think breakfast for dinner is a great meal, there are so many yummy breakfast meals, and usually not enough time in the morning to make them!
